One of the colours of this city

Bangalore is a city teeming with humungous souls with dreams and aspirations. Hence the city has been a breeding ground for multi cultured individuals, that goes without saying. Incidentally, this city which had just over 10 lakh folks in the last decade has added a mammoth crowd of another 40 lakh in the last 10 years.
Boy this city has appitite for acceptance:)

This has made many living in the city craving for some place far from the crowd, yet inside the bondaries of the city. I have friends who during our weekend sojourns complained about Bangalore not having any place to go for a good break.
Only if they could look beyond the hyper populated MG Road, Brigade Road, Forum, Garuda et al and look for alternate options I say.

And one of the place to visit is definitely the limits of JP Nagar 1st phase police station:) Police station would not be a good place for a weekend retreat..the place just a stone throw away from it would definitely be..
For those who are smart enough to catch the clue..congratulations..

For the uninitiated..im referring the artistically beautiful Rangashankara where theatre blossoms and the bloom of it can be felt by all and sundry.

It would be not justified if I do talk about what the place is, what it gives and what you can expect of it...Rangashankara is to be felt and not written..if you do get what I mean to say..

Definitelty one of the colours to splurge in..

JP Nagar 1st phase (next to J.P Nagar Police Station. Plays generally happens towards the evening. )

From MG Road. Rs. 45 if you going by auto..new meter..:)

Why this blog?

Many cities in this country do not have a heart!

Saying the same about Bangalore would be so very wrong. This is one city that has seen the meteoric rise of itself, accomodated with a warm heart people from every part and aspect of the country and abroad denizens nonetheless, yet has still managed to keep its heart healthy. Don't believe?

One should travel around the city to unravel this mystery of how the heart is still connected. May it be the mad rush at Vidhyarthi Bhavan at Gandhi Bazaar or the Old Mavalli Tiffin Rooms that is so symbolic of what this city has been.
Likewise, there are ample venues which depict the spirit called Bangalore.
Through this blog I would be looking into issues that I come across or do feel about sharing about this city. This would be more or less my pov about this great city which has accepted me as a part of it!!!
Bangalore or Bengaluru or Bengalooru...a rose is a rose by whatever name you call it!!!!!Right:)
